The Directors are accountable to shareholders for the good corporate governance of Angel Biotechnology Holdings Plc and seek to uphold and report on compliance with current best price in corporate governance.

Dr Paul Harper – Executive Chairman         

Dr Harper has over 30 years' experience of the life sciences industry covering both drug development and medical devices.  He has served as chief executive of Cambridge Antibody Technology Ltd and Provensis Ltd.  He has also served as corporate development director of Unipath, then the medical diagnostics business of Unilver, and as director of Reneuron Holdings plc and Physiomics plc, all AIM quoted companies. In addition, he is chairman of RegenTec Ltd, FDAS Ltd, Physiomics plc and Monica Healthcare Ltd. Formerly head of antimicrobial chemotherapy for Glaxo, Dr Harper holds a  doctorate in molecular virology and is the author of over 50  publications.

Dr Harper is Chair of Angel's Remuneration Committee; the role of the Committee is to establish a formal and transparent policy on executive remuneration and to set remuneration packages for individual Directors.

Stewart White – Commercial Director and Acting CEO

Stewart White joined the company in December 2011 as commercial director and appointed Acting-CEO in March 2012. Following a period of post-doctoral cancer research, he joined Eli Lilly and Company as a fermentation production scientist, manufacturing API's under GMP. He then moved into contract manufacturing at Bioreliance as Biomanufacturing manager, managing the GMP production of cell banks, vaccines and other biologics for use in clinical trials, for a range of global clients. Prior to joining Angel, he was employed by Devro plc, as technical operations manager, charged with growing their global medical collagen business. This involved establishing clean room manufacturing capability and sales offices, defining commercial strategy to serve a global customer base in regenerative medicine, medical devices and in vitro-diagnostics, and, provide regulatory support to customers with FDA submissions, whilst establishing ISO 13485 / ISO 22442 compliant quality systems. Dr White holds a first class degree in Microbiology, a Ph.D. in Fermentation Technology and an MBA.

Lorna Peers – Finance Director and Company Secretary

Lorna Peers was appointed as Finance Director in March 2011, having joined the Company in June 2010. Prior to joining Angel, Lorna held senior financial and company secretary positions at Stem Cell Sciences PLC, an international biotechnology company specialising in the provision of stem cells and stem cell technologies with dual Listings on the London Stock Exchange and Australian Stock Exchange (ASX). Lorna is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, having completed her training with The Royal Bank of Scotland Group.

Gavin Clark – Non-Executive Director

Gavin Clark has 25 years′ experience in the life sciences sector holding senior positions in the industry before forming his own practice Procela Partners Limited.  He was responsible for global licensing for infectious diseases at Glaxo Wellcome until 1999 and served as VP business development for Tibotec Pharmaceuticals up until the acquisition by Johnson & Johnson in 2002. His extensive licensing and commercial development experience encompasses global, regional, drug delivery, diagnostics and generics deals from both big and small sides of the negotiating table.  Mr Clark has a bachelors degree in chemistry from the University of Strathclyde.

Mr Clark is a member of the Audit Committee and the Remuneration Commitee        

Nicholas Smith – Non-Executive Director

Nick Smith is a chartered taxation advisor and financial professional operating in the utilities and environmental sectors.  He is the owner of Eurowater Limited which provides financial simulation modelling, project and corporate financing advice and specialist taxation advice to utility and environmental clients.  Currently, Nick is the finance director of Almond Engineering Limited, a precision engineering business in Scotland, and was involved in a management buy-in of that Company in April 2008.  He is also company secretary to the Ondeo Industrial Solutions UK Group, part of Suez Environnement and until March 2008 he was a non-executive director of Ayr Environmental Services Limited and Caledonian Environmental Services plc, two PFI Project Companies working in the wastewater and sludge treatment sectors in Scotland, and is retained by those companies as a consultant. Previously, Nick was finance director of Northumbrian Lyonnaise International Limited (1996 2001), a subsidiary of Northumbrian Water.  Before that he was group tax manager for Northumbrian Water.

Mr Smith Chairs Angel's Audit Committee and is a member of the Remuneration Committee.
