History Angel Biotechnology was established in December 2000 by Stuart Duncan, who had identified an opportunity to launch a comprehensive process development and cGMP biomanufacturing company differentiated by the provision of value added customer services. Since this time, Angel's service offering and areas of expertise have developed dramatically. With the establishment of quality systems, a project management team and a highly experienced CMO management team, Angel's capabilities now include recombinant proteins, cellular therapies and stem cells, antibodies, and viruses, with associated cGMP manufacturing capabilities and downstream processing. In November 2005, Angel become a publicly traded company following its floatation on the Alternative Investments Market (AIM). This has given Angel the financial stability and flexibility to ensure growth for the future.
